Ashley Abbott let Sally Spectra have it on The Young and the Restless, and our jaws hit the floor. Ashley’s no saint, and she received grace and forgiveness from many people in Genoa City. Unfortunately, over the years, she’s wracked up her fair share of misdeeds.
Young and the Restless: Ashley Abbott’s Top Misdeeds
One of the things Ashley (Eileen Davidson) threw in Sally’s (Courtney Hope) face was that she’d hurt her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). We still remember that Ashley went out of her way to hurt Jack too.
She made him believe he wasn’t John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) son. Sure, she had her reasons, like the fact that Jack often made her feel less-than since she wasn’t a biological Abbott. He had the whole blood-Abbott clause, which kept Ashley from becoming Jabot’s CEO. We could certainly say that Ashley hurt Jack, but in the end, they forgave each other in honor of the late Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John).
All in the Young and the Restless Family
Her penchant for hurting her siblings wasn’t limited to Jack, though. Ashley also hurt her sister, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), by going after her ex-husband, Brad Carlton (Don Diamont). Ashley and Brad married and had a relationship for many years, and he even adopted her daughter.
Then, there was the time that Ashley actually stole Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) sperm to create Abby Newman (now Melissa Ordway). Victor didn’t realize he was Abby’s father for a good while because Ashley passed the baby off as her friend Christian’s child. Oh, and let’s not forget that Ashley fell in love with Victor while he and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) were married.
Ashley Should Come Down Off Her High Horse
Speaking of Abby, Ashley also had a one-night stand with Dr. Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan), who ended up being Abby’s husband. During Abby and Stitch’s engagement, he and Ashley shared, “I love yous.” Yikes! That is a pretty big misdeed, ranking right up there with some of Sally’s past behavior.
Much like Lauren Fenmore Baldwin’s (Tracey Bregman) treatment of Sally, we find Ashley’s holier-than-thou attitude hypocritical. Ashley did plenty of dirty deeds in her life. Although she’s worried about Abby and Chance Chancellor, we wish she’d give Sally a bit of grace.
