The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, July 27, see Victoria Newman make a confession to Ashland Locke, Phyllis Summers scamming Sally Spectra, and Summer Newman’s life decisions continuing to be questioned.
The Young and the Restless Recap Highlights
Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) tells Victoria (Amelia Heinle) he now understands that she’s in love with Ashland (Richard Burgi), and he supports her bringing a dying man into their children’s lives. The two of them then spend some time discussing how they know what Ashland should do for his health better than he does.
Ashland, after a confrontation with Tara (Elizabeth Leiner) where she won’t let him spend one-on-one time with Harrison to tell the boy about his illness – but manages to sound like the victim the minute Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) walks through the door – comes home to Victoria in time to overhear Billy giving his blessing to their relationship.
Ashland gets Billy to promise not to write about his condition. Victoria then tells Ashland she loves him. So he decides she’s worth staying alive for. Not his kid. The woman he met last week(ish).
Y&R Recap: Crazy Eyes
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) rants to Kyle (Michael Mealor) about the evils of Tara and Sally (Courtney Hope). Sally, in the meantime, is giddy that Jack has decided to renew their relationship. She’s so giddy, she doesn’t notice Phyllis stealing her phone…and sending Tara a text supposedly from Sally.
Young and the Restless: Precious Child
It’s not enough that Phyllis is obsessed with getting her daughter back to Genoa City. Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) spend their European vacation asking Summer (Hunter King) if she is really and truly happy with her choices. After all, if Summer ain’t happy, can’t anybody be happy. Summer admits she might be a tiny bit less than ecstatic. Oh, noes!
