Will Steffy Forrester Ever Approve of Thomas and Hope’s Relationship?

Steffy Forrester and Hope Logan haven’t really ever gotten along on The Bold and the Beautiful. They’ve been related as stepsisters and have fought over the same men. Now, Hope is romantically involved with Steffy’s brother, Thomas, which adds another complicated dimension to the pair’s already strained dynamic.

Steffy Forrester: Doubting Hope

Can Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) ever sign off on Thomas and Hope’s relationship? If she can’t the couple may never know any peace. Ironically, Steffy’s late grandmother Stephanie (Susan Flannery) took a long time to accept Hope’s mother Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) in her son Ridge’s life. So it’s not impossible that Steffy will come around on Hope, too.

Love Wins

Steffy and Hope (Annika Noelle) may not see eye to eye on much however, they both believe in love. Just ask Liam (Scott Clifton) the man they’ve both been in love with on and off over the years. If — and this is a big “if” — Steffy can take a step back and realize that she can’t control everything, she might let the couple live happily ever after.

Steffy Forrester: Neutral Corners

Steffy is emotional but she’s also pragmatic. She can step aside and let Hope and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) pursue their own personal destiny but she doesn’t have to support it. Steffy can bide her time, wait for the relationship to implode, and then be there for her brother when he needs her. The Forrester executive is too classy to do a “told you so” dance.

No Hope For Thomas and Hope’s Future

Steffy loves her brother but she won’t put blinders on when it comes to him. Well, maybe when it comes to his role in poor Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) death. Seriously, Steffy will never support Hope and Thomas’s relationship because she simply doesn’t think Hope is the right woman for her brother. It’s probably all that history over Liam that has tainted Steffy’s perception of Hope. Hope should give up ever thinking that Steffy is going to support her romance with Thomas.
