Just Why Was Pierson Fodé At The Dancing With The Stars Finale?

There wasn’t a daytime soap star on Dancing With the Stars this season, but one showed up for the finale!

A former The Bold and the Beautiful star was in the audience to cheer on a pal of his… and she happened to be the pro dancer who won!

Pierson Fodé, an Emmy-nominee for his role as B&B’s Thomas, attended the taping to see pro dancer Sharna Burgess and her partner, radio personality Bobby Bones, compete for the championship!

Bones, who was affectionately dubbed the “People’s Champion,” and Burgess, a fan favorite who’s been on the show since season 13 as a troupe member and season 16 as a pro, won the season 27 coveted mirror ball trophy!

“It was an incredible show,” Fodé told Soap Hub. “[Sharna] and Bobby tore it up! He’s the people’s man! She has been working for this her entire career. It shows and she really dominated the competition. They’re the mirror ball miracle!

“I don’t know about [everyone else], but my heart skipped a beat,” Fodé said of when he heard his pal’s name called as the champ. “We’ve known each other for two years. It’s quite the friendship. I’m glad I could be here to support her. It was an incredible show!”

What’s Fodé been up to since his brief return to B&B earlier this year when he reprised Thomas long enough to take Sally (Courtney Hope) off the canvas? (The fiery redhead returned to the show a few months later, having broken up with Thomas off-camera.)

“I’m producing a project right now and I sold a script,” he reports. “Lots of good things are happening.”

Viewers are hoping that Fodé someday returns to B&B to revisit Thomas’s many relationships. “You never know,” he hints. “There’s always the possibility. I truly miss the fans and my family at B&B. I had some incredible experiences there.”
