Why Felicia and Kristen Should Return to The Bold and the Beautiful

Eric Forrester is in the midst of some marital angst on The Bold and the Beautiful, given that he can’t fully forgive his wife Quinn for her machinations. While he’s confided his situation to his son Ridge, we think that Eric could use the support of some of his other children — specifically, his daughters with the late Stephanie — Kristen and Felicia.

The Bold and the Beautiful Commentary

Eric (John McCook) cares deeply for Quinn (Rena Sofer) just as she loves him. However, it’s clear that the two are at an impasse. The Forrester patriarch welcomed his estranged wife back into his home late last year, but recent scenes have revealed that he’s been unable to welcome her back into his heart.

Much to Quinn’s chagrin, Eric cares deeply for his ex-wife Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and, of course, his son Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), so his inability to trust Quinn, who tried to split them up, is valid. Quinn confiding in Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about her marriage and Eric’s out-of-town business trip are setting the stage for more drama.

Eric’s going to need some allies and who better to have on his side than two women who will go head-to-head against Quinn if need be? Both Felicia (Lesli Kay) and Kristen (Tracy Melchior) have their father’s best interests at heart. Their presence will give Eric a female perspective on his marriage. And, should Quinn get out of line, both women will likely not hesitate to make sure that Eric isn’t being played as a patsy.

Just picture Felicia intensely gazing at Quinn’s portrait, ready for her to come into the living room so they could have a showdown. While it’s acceptable on some level for Quinn to be jealous of Brooke, Eric’s wife may not have as much leeway in having conflict with his daughters.

Kristen and Felicia being back in town would serve more than Eric’s story. Kristen could connect with her son Zende (Delon de Metz) and check on how he’s doing. Maybe in scenes between them, we could find out why Zende split from Nicole (Reign Edwards)?

Felicia could bring her son, Dominic, with her. He, along with other offspring of Forrester family members, could be the foundation of a new teen scene on the show.
