Ridge and Brooke Forrester haven’t had many conflicts since his ill-fated and illegal union with Shauna Fulton in Las Vegas on The Bold and the Beautiful. They’re back in the thick of conflict now that Deacon Sharpe’s returned — but is the bad boy really the biggest threat to their union?

Most of you, about 35%, say that the greatest threat to Ridge and Brooke is Ridge himself! He’s constantly telling Brooke that he doesn’t want Deacon (Sean Kanan) around and he’s told Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) to leave the property. Brooke hasn’t jumped on in the anti-Deacon bandwagon and Ridge has picked up on that. Ridge’s biggest mistake would be forgetting that Brooke once fell for this bad boy for a reason. She’s drawn to him.

Many of you, about 28%, say that Brooke herself is going to be the thorn (no pun intended) in her own marriage to Ridge on The Bold and the Beautiful. The late Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) used to call Brooke out on her ability to go from one man to the next — never meaning to hurt anyone but that’s exactly what happens. Brooke didn’t let her relationship with Bridget keep her from falling for Deacon’s charms — why should her feelings for Ridge stop her?

Dear Deacon

Let’s face it — if Deacon weren’t around, Brooke couldn’t fall for him. So, that’s why 19% of you feel that Deacon’s the problem. Remove him from the situation and Brooke can’t be unfaithful and Ridge won’t get so upset by Deacon’s presence. The problem is that Deacon’s not going anywhere.

The Doctor Is In

The rest of you, about 18%, says that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) will cause disharmony between Ridge and Brooke. If Taylor weren’t presumed dead back in 2002 on The Bold and the Beautiful, then Ridge and Brooke might have never gotten back together. It’s clear that there’s chemistry between these two. Ridge has chosen Brooke more often than he has Taylor. Perhaps this time, The Bold and the Beautiful pendulum will swing in Taylor’s direction?
