The Bold and the Beautiful

Who’s The Baddest Of Them All On The Bold And The Beautiful?

The Bold and The Beautiful Does Bad Good

Sometimes a soap storyline needs a dangerous antagonist to really mix things up! The Bold and the Beautiful has had more than its share of troublemaking bad folks. Here’s a look back at five BB meanies!

Sheila Carter

The naughty nurse started out on The Young and the Restless before migrating over to BB where she did far worse than she had done in the past. On BB, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) threatened nurse Judy (Nan Wolff), pushed Dr. Jay Garvin (Brett Stimely) off a balcony, kept James (Ian Buchanan) in a dungeon, and spiked alcoholic Macy’s (Bobbie Eakes) drink.

But that’s not all. She also shot Stephanie (Susan Flannery) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) AND Taylor (Hunter Tylo)! The woman knows no bounds.

Sly Donovan

He started out as a good guy, but Sly (Brent Jasmer) lost his way after deciding to trap Jessica Forrester (Maitland Ward) into marriage (and a wealthy lifestyle for himself) by getting her pregnant.

Jessica taught Sly a lesson, which enraged him. He raped Jess and tried to burn her and her pal Jasmine (Lark Voorhies) alive in a fire. The tables turned and Sly seemingly died in the inferno he intended for others.

Deveney Dickson

We’re not sure if that’s her real name, but Deveney’s (Judith Borne) threats were real. First, she posed as a fake Angela Forrester in order to bilk Stephanie out of her money. Then, after learning that Thorne shot Ridge in the head she blackmailed Steph. She presumably perished in car wreck, but lived, suffering a horrible disfiguration. Deveney skipped town and is out there somewhere. Hmm…

Thomas Forrester

Controlling Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) is a physically imposing presence around most adults. Imagine how his son, Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri), feels when he senses dad’s in a bad mood?

And that’s pretty much most of the time now! If Thomas really wanted a new wife and a mother for Douglas, he could have downloaded a dating app. A tall, dark and handsome single dad who (sometimes) likes kids? Guy’s a unicorn.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Stephanie Forrester

To some, Stephanie was a devoted matriarch who wanted nothing more than to keep her family together. However, Steph went outside the norms of standard behavior by hiring a private eye to reunite her husband’s lover with her ex, forging a letter to break up Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) dynamic with Brooke, and by slapping and trying to strangle (!) Brooke.

Additionally, Stephanie came close to tricking Morgan DeWitt (a baddie herself, played by Sarah Buxton) into drinking a tea that would have caused a miscarriage. She lied about having had a heart attack to ruin Brooke’s life.

La Forrester kneed Eric in the groin (OUCH!). Villains feel justified in their actions. Steph was no exception! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
