They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but we wonder what good is a picture when you can’t recognize the subject? Above is a snapshot of a future star of soaps, but can you guess who this cute young lady with braces grew up to be?
Obviously, this young woman (now all grown up) is either currently starring in, or is an alum of, one of the four remaining daytime dramas – The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless – but that’s probably not enough of a hint.
So try these on for size. She began her professional career as a model. She was married to a fellow actor and frequent collaborator. She appeared on the FOX serial Melrose Place. She headlined a series on the UPN network. She was a guest model on The Price Is Right. She was a reality show star, worked opposite Patrick Muldoon, and has launched her own line of skincare products.
But just who can she be? Is this a photograph of Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton, BB), Lisa Rinna (ex-Billie Reed, DAYS), Farah Fath (ex-Gigi Morasco, One Life To Live), or Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman, YR)?
Though she isn’t today’s featured star, Rinna does have a lot in common. She worked as a model and commercial actress, played opposite Patrick Muldoon on DAYS, and had a long-running role on Melrose Place. Rinna has also been married to Harry Hamlin, whom she’s acted alongside in projects like Veronica Mars, and she’s been a member of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast since 2014.
It’s true that Fath did indeed star in a reality series – E!’s Dirty Soap. However, despite being involved with co-star John-Paul Lavoisier, Fath did not marry him, nor does she match the other criteria. So she isn’t the answer to today’s identity query.
And neither is Heinle. She did play a model on Loving and its sequel series The City but she didn’t begin her career working as one. And though she did marry both Michael Weatherly and Thad Luckinbill (who played her spouses on Loving and YR respectively), she didn’t work on Melrose Place, with Patrick Muldoon, or in a reality show.
Richards spent her post-high school days modeling in Paris, New York, and Tokyo before launching her acting career with a guest spot on the series Life Goes On. She would subsequently appear in series such as Melrose Place, Friends, and the UPN serial Sex, Love & Secrets.
Richards made her film debut in the 1993 parody film National Lampoon’s Loaded Weapon 1, but it would be for her performances in pictures like Tammy & the T-Rex, Wild Things, and Starship Troopers (which also starred Patrick Muldoon) for which she would become well known.
She met her first husband, Charlie Sheen on the set of Good Advice and acted with him in episodes of Spin City, Two & a Half Men, and the slasher parody Scary Movie 3.
So, if you guessed that the future star of soaps seen in the picture above was Denise Richards, who spent Monday, November 4, 2019, posing alongside Price Is Right showcases, then you were absolutely correct!
