The Bold and the Beautiful Couples
One holiday soaps never seem to miss is New Year’s Eve. While this year’s gala may not be quite the same due to social distancing, that doesn’t mean characters on your favorite shows, including The Bold and the Beautiful, can’t get together to ring in 2021!
Which couple would you like to see kiss to ring in the New Year? (Or which characters would you like to see simulate kissing using safety protocols?) Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans. While not an even split, three duos received quite a bit of votes each!
The show’s long-running premiere duo Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) came in first with almost 40% of your vote. If any couple on the show deserves a holiday, it’s these two. The “Bridge” almost collapsed after Brooke’s smooch with Bill (Don Diamont) came to light at a family gathering.
There was also Ridge’s “marriage” to Shauna (Denise Richards) in Las Vegas. But, of course, he returned to Brooke. This is one reunion that fans want to see sealed with a kiss (done safely, of course)!
Another couple that was separated this year was Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer). They recently reunited and 34% of you want to see these two kiss on New Year’s Eve. While some feel that Eric forgave Quinn too easily, it’s actually congruous with his character to give second chances.
How many times did Eric forgive Stephanie (Susan Flannery) for her machinations? Perhaps, Eric and Quinn can share a (safety protocol) smooch by the fireplace at the Forrester mansion — with, of course, Quinn’s portrait hanging in the place of honor.
Even though Liam (Scott Clifton) committed adultery by sleeping with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) after mistakenly believing Hope (Annika Noelle) had been unfaithful to him with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), fans still want to see Hope and Liam kiss on New Year’s Eve. The couple scored almost 26% of your vote.
On one hand, Liam’s actions were inexcusable. However, on the other, he felt he’d been deceived first. While Thomas got to make out with the Hope mannequin, Liam just might get to lock lips with the real deal! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
