Abigail (Marci Miller) gets the dirt on Jake (Brandon Barash) when she corners him into a confession. How will she take the scandalous reveal? It certainly explains a lot. Not to mention, this is just what Chad (Billy Flynn) needs to hear to calm down his suspicions.
Chad Does The Unthinkable
Unfortunately, Chad will not hear the truth before making a wildly huge mistake. Gwen (Emily O’Brien) convinces him Abigail is cheating and talks him into getting revenge. Her plan works and she takes Chad to bed! Chad is convinced this is an eye-for-an-eye situation when in reality, he is the one destroying his life.
Jennifer Hears Alarm Bells
Jennifer (Cady McClain) is another one who should hear the truth before she does something she will regret. She shows up at the party and immediately spies Kate (Lauren Koslow) chatting with Jack (Matthew Ashford). Logically, she knows they are just friends but she cannot seem to convince herself there is truly nothing going on between Kate and her husband.

Philip Misreads Everything
Speaking of jealousy, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) has a hard time covering up his feelings when he sees Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) cozying up to Brady (Eric Martsolf). How dare he? How dare she?! This is just as bad as her showing up at the mansion with Xander (Paul Telfer).
Things take quite a turn when the countdown begins. One of these men has the pleasure of kissing Chloe at midnight. You will never believe which one! Watch for this midnight kiss because it will cause quite the scene.
Love Has No Distance
Meanwhile, Will (Chandler Massey) connects with Sonny (Freddie Smith) over video chat. The couple may be apart but the magic is still there. They aren’t going to let a little thing like a few hundred miles keep them from ushering in the new year as a family. Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC.
