The Bold and the Beautiful

Which Bold and the Beautiful Dad Would You Want to Call Yours?

As soaps are all about families, there are many characters who are fathers on The Bold and the Beautiful. From patriarch Eric to expectant pop Finn, BB has lots of dads!

The Bold and the Beautiful Polling

If you lived in the BB universe, which father would you like to be yours? Soap Hub posed this question to BB fans in honor of Father’s Day this weekend.

Eric The First

Not surprisingly, Eric (played by John McCook) came in first with nearly 75% of your vote! From day one, Eric’s been the father to not only his children but, in a sense, to his employees and he was also kind to Beth’s (Nancy Burnett) children.

Recently, Eric extended parental concern towards Sally (Courtney Hope), who reached out to the fashion guru for some help in helping her dreams (and schemes) come true. Who better to have as a dad than Eric who is kind, understanding, patient — and rich!

Second Place

Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) came in second place with 11% of your vote. You likely chose him because he’s very devoted to his kids. Ridge has stood by Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) when he was going through some very dark periods. He also supported Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) when she was battling her opioid addiction. Ridge, in fact, isn’t just there for his kids when they’re in crisis — he cares for them all the time.

Dollar Dad

Don Diamont’s Bill came in third with 10% of your vote. In real life, Diamont has seven (!) sons. As Bill, he has three sons — Liam (Scott Clifton), Wyatt (Darin Brooks), and Will (Finnegan George). Bill’s a fierce parent. He expects much and gives much. Currently, Bill and Liam are bonding in jail because Liam couldn’t keep his yap shut about mowing down Vinny (Joe LoCicero) dead.

Honest Liam

It’s good to be honest, but only 4% of you want truthful Liam to be your dad. He couldn’t live with himself if he didn’t come clean on killing Vinny. But Bill has a point. Liam needing to cleanse his soul means that his daughters Kelly and Beth and surrogate son Douglas (Henry Joseph Samiri) may not have a dad to help navigate them through life.

Stay tuned to see if Liam and Bill get out of jail or if they go to prison for a long time. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
