There are two major families on The Young and the Restless, which means a lot of fathers are also sons. Some characters have more than one dad, while others barely know theirs.

The Young and the Restless Polling

Which one would you like for your own? What almost 3,000 viewers told us:

Jack Is Back

Almost half of you, 45%, voted for Jack (Peter Bergman). His first-born son, Keemo, blew into his life, and just as quickly blew out of it. Now, Jack hasn’t mentioned him for decades. Kyle (Michael Mealor) was first presumed to be Victor’s (Eric Braeden). Then he was raised by his late mother’s parents. But Jack is making up for lost time now with not just Kyle, but his newfound grandson, Harrison. Jack would have made such a terrific hands-on parent. It’s a shame he never really got the chance.

Better Man

A smaller 36% of the audience picked Nick (Joshua Morrow). He has always been there for Noah (Robert Adamson), Summer (Hunter King), Faith (Reylynn Caster), Christian, and even Cassie (Camryn Grimes), who wasn’t biologically his, and who Nick only met when she was already seven years old. As a dad, Nick was everything Victor (Eric Braeden) wasn’t. And there’s no better compliment than that.

You Got That?

If your idea of a good dad is one who wants to control every aspect of your children’s lives, then you’re the 15% who voted for Victor. Do what he says, and you’re his favorite. Here, have a company. Disagree with him, and you are a disgrace who spits upon everything your long-suffering Dad tried to do for you! Oh, and if you try to move out of town with his grandson, he’ll sue you for custody. For your own good.

Tied Up

There was a tie for the last place, with 2% each going to Billy (Jason Thompson) and Adam (Mark Thompson). Adam ran over the daughter Billy left alone in a car by the side of the road. So, yeah… The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
