Brooke Logan has committed quite a few sins in her day. Recently, at the beginning of the year, The Bold and the Beautiful heroine decided to lie to Ridge, her husband, that she’d kissed and (literally) slept with Deacon.
The Bold and the Beautiful Our Miss Brooke
Brooke’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) been beating herself up in recent weeks, but what has been her greatest sin in all this? Soap Hub posed this question to B&B fans. Read on for the results.
It’s Not The Crime, It’s The Cover-up
Kissing an ex on New Year’s Eve and sleeping next to them (unknowingly, we might add) isn’t really a horrible crime. Had Brooke told Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about it right away, he would have exploded, but his anger would have been directed at Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) — not Brooke. So Brooke will have no one to blame but herself for not coming clean with Ridge. And 48% of you believe that Brooke’s biggest mistake in all of this was not being honest.
The Bold and the Beautiful Past Imperfect
Many of you, about 30%, say that Brooke’s biggest error is never learning from her mistakes. She started being less than honest in the show’s first year when she withheld Ridge’s letter to Caroline (Joanna Johnson) from her ‘pal’ so that they wouldn’t reunite. Brooke maintained she didn’t think Ridge and Caroline were right for one another, but she’s hardly an objective source.
Pants On Fire
Some of you, nearly 12%, subscribe to the theory that not telling the truth is the same as lying. Every time Brooke regretted drinking to Ridge, she left out the part about how when she was drunk, she smooched with her ex. It’s going to come out in time that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) switched the non-alcoholic bubbly with the real stuff. Sure, Ridge will be mad at Deacon and Sheila, but he’s likely not going to be happy with Brooke either.
The Bold and the Beautiful Welcome Matt
Brooke’s not responsible for getting drunk as she didn’t know the booze was real. But nearly 10% of you feel that Brooke’s biggest mistake was letting Deacon into her home at all. Ridge wasn’t home. If Brooke wanted Hope to spend New Year’s Eve with her father, then she should have told them to go to the cabin or somewhere else.
