Stephanie Forrester
Stephanie Forrester made a lot of enemies in her day on The Bold and the Beautiful. She paid for that over and over, but perhaps never quite so as when she was shot following a Forrester fashion show!
The Forrester matriarch had crossed a lot of people with her machinations around this time — Nick (Jack Wagner) was furious with her as were Eric (John McCook), Stephen (Patrick Duffy), Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), Donna (Jennifer Gareis), and even Jake (Todd McKee), the Forrester Creations’ seldom seen employee, were all suspects.
After the fashion show concluded, Stephanie hung around looking for Eric. She walked down the runway and stopped upon hearing a noise. She called out and asked if Eric was there. Then, viewers saw a mystery person holding a gun. A shot fired and the bullet struck Stephanie.
Veteran TV viewers knew the bullet would find its mark for one simple reason — the show dressed Stephanie in all white so that way the blood that came out of the bullet wound would have maximum visual impact.
The shooter turned out to be Storm Logan (William DeVry), who committed another crime when he framed his father, Stephen, for the attempt on Stephanie’s life!
