Bold and the Beautiful, at times, only tells one major story. For example, when baby Beth was missing a few years ago, that seemed to dominate all the show’s screen time. Currently, everyone (save Sheila Carter) on the canvas seems to be focused on Hope and Liam’s crumbling marriage.
Bold and the Beautiful: Spread the (Story) Wealth
While it certainly works for B&B to tell one major tale at a time (the baby Beth story climax shot the show to the top spot in the coveted Women 18-49 demographic), viewers do like variety in their shows. Here are three stories that we’d like to see B&B give some airtime to sooner rather than later.
B&B: Kiss and Tell
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) needs to come clean with her husband Finn (Tanner Novlan) that Liam (Scott Clifton) kissed her not once but twice. First, he locked lips with Steffy over in Rome after witnessing Hope kiss Thomas (Matthew Atkinson).
Then, he kissed her again once they were back in California. A lack of communication can impact a couple’s happy union significantly. We’d like to see Steffy be honest with Finn — after, of course, she advises Liam she’s going to do so in case he wants to lay low!
Bold and the Beautiful: Conflict for Carter and Katie
Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Katie (Heather Tom) are fairly conflict-free these days on B&B. That doesn’t lend itself to the couple getting airtime outside of sitting around the conference table at Forrester Creations.
How about bringing Quinn back to the canvas and we can find out whether or not it truly was just sex between her and Carter or whether or not the Forrester COO had genuine feelings for the jewelry designer? If not Quinn, perhaps the reintroduction of Katie’s son Will might add some conflict to the duo’s dynamic.
B&B: Flo, She Don’t Know
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Flo (Katrina Bowden) are engaged to be married. We think. She accepted his proposal over a year ago, but we haven’t seen much of the couple since. Brooks plays a great supportive brother to Liam, but he’s a fun, romantic leading man who should have a story of his own. Let’s see Flo and Wyatt get married or maybe break things off so that they are free to pursue other relationships.
