On today’s The Bold and the Beautiful episode, Mike Guthrie listened as Sheila made quite the declaration.
Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
In addition, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) made his feelings about Katie (Heather Tom) and Bill (Don Diamont) crystal clear and Bill really rather put Katie on the spot. Now, let’s dig a little deeper into what exactly happened.
Mike Guthrie Is The Odd Man Out
Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) found herself led to a section of the prison that she’d never seen before [wonders never cease] and wound up with an audience with old pal Mike Gutherie (Ken Hanes).

Mike had heard about the “incident” with Sheila’s heart, and he wanted to see for himself how “Dollface” and her ticker were doing. Sheila was thrilled by the attention and lapped it up. Talk inevitably turned to Sheila’s determination to get sprung, and Mike intuited that she was missing Finn (Tanner Novlan).
Sheila admitted that she was, but she was sure that he’d eventually come around — literally and figuratively. After all, she’d put in a request for a visit from her attending physician, and it was Finn who brought her back from the brink of death. If that doesn’t bode well for him forgiving and accepting and loving her, Sheila doesn’t know what does.
Still, Sheila’s not prepared to just sit around and wait for it to happen. She intends to MAKE it happen. Mike granted that he admired Sheila’s persistence, but he didn’t see a way of making that happen. Sheila, however, has the will, and that also means that she’ll find a way!
Seconds after sending that chill down Mike’s spine, Sheila was apprised of yet another visitor — this one she made contact with through the prison’s computer system. A spritz of perfume here, a dab of lipstick there, and a fluffing of her hair, and Sheila was ready to receive — much to Mike’s chagrin. But just who’s come a calling?
B&B Recap: Priorities
At Forrester Creations, Katie and Carter playfully mused about how they’d said ‘I love you’ without actually saying the words [though Katie actually did say the word “love,” but why quibble?] and Carter suggested that Katie should forgo her date with Bill. Katie insisted that it wasn’t a date and remained steadfast in her commitment to doing Bill the solid of a face-to-face.
Once Katie heads off for her not date, Carter is joined by Brooke, to whom he grouses. With great flair, Carter laid out exactly what was going on as they spoke:
“Bill’s going to remind her of their relationship. All the good things. Their marriage, and then he’s going to go into the family they created with Will. And then he’s going to apologize, he’s going to say sorry for hurting her over and over again, and then he’ll promise never to do it again. And don’t get me started on all the jewelry.”
That made Brooke giggle because she knows Bill’s playbook, and she knows from jewelry. Carter then confided that earlier in the day, he and Katie had “basically said I love you” to each other and said that might go a long way towards explaining why he’s so upset by the idea of Katie being in Bill’s presence.
Well, that and the fact that it’s Brooke that Bill’s actually in love with and that Bill is merely using Katie as a substitute. That really rankles. “Katie doesn’t deserve to be anyone’s second choice.”
Bold and Beautiful Recap: Truth And Consequence
At Bill’s, Carter’s predictions were made manifest — sans the jewelry. There was the reminiscing about Will in his younger days, the pleas for a second chance, the promise that he’d be different.
When Bill went in for a kiss, Katie blocked him but good. That act earned her some pointed questions. Questions like does she care about Carter more than she does Bill and “What exactly is going on between you and Carter?” Answers were not forthcoming
