The Bold and the Beautiful Wayback: Remember Felicia

The Forrester family on The Bold and the Beautiful is one of the most well-known in soap opera history. Within three years of the show’s March 1987 premiere, viewers had met all of Eric and Stephanie Forrester’s children, including their youngest Felicia.

Here’s a look back at Felicia Forrester – arguably, the most rebellious and determined of the Forrester clan, who was played to perfection over the years by both Colleen Dion and Lesli Kay.

The Wedding Guest
Felicia came home from Europe just in time for her brother Ridge’s wedding to Caroline. She supported her family through troubled times that year, including Caroline’s untimely death and her parents’ divorce. Felicia fell for tennis pro-Jake Maclaine and helped him deal with repressed memories that he’d been sexually abused as a little boy by his Uncle Charlie.

Family Business
Felicia’s far-out designs weren’t a fit at Forrester, but they found a home at Spectra Fashions. Sally was thrilled to have a Forrester on her design team. Felicia’s environmental-themed fashion show was a hit!

After losing Jake to Macy, she began seeing Zach Hamilton, Taylor’s brother, but he was caught up with some bad men. Felicia and Zach narrowly escaped with their lives and left town after Felicia pressured her mom not to press charges.

Trials And Tribulations
Felicia returned home a few years later – sans Zach – to see Ridge through a trial after he was up on charges that he’d shot Grant (Brooke’s young son Rick was the real culprit). The next time we saw Felicia was for her parents near-remarriage. She came back again several years later suffering from colon cancer. She returned to Spectra – designing for Spectra Couture – before taking off for Forrester International.

Romantic Triangles
After spending time at Forrester International, Felicia returned to Los Angeles with her son, Dominick. Felicia asked Nick and Bridget to raise her son as Felicia’s cancer worsened. She saw Eric and Stephanie remarry and then Felicia passed away…or so it seemed. Steph has whisked her daughter away to a private clinic where she received treatment that saved her life. She grew close to her doctor, Christian Ramirez.

Father’s Daze
Dominick turned out not to be Nick’s son, after all. His true birth dad was Dante Damiano and the boy was renamed “Dino.” Bridget, split from Nick, battled Felicia for Dante’s affections.

Bridget miscarried Dante’s baby and he took a job in Italy, leaving Felicia behind. Felicia allied herself with her mother against Donna Logan who was in love with Eric. She lost her gig at Forrester after Donna was put briefly in charge.

Family Matters
Felicia continues to pop up for family occasions — both joyful (weddings) and the tragic (Stephanie’s death). She had difficulty supporting Eric’s relationship with manipulative Quinn.

While currently off the canvas, it’s likely that Felicia – and her son Dino – will someday return to the Forrester fold. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
