The Bold And The Beautiful Star Rena Sofer Makes A Passionate Plea

On-screen she pushes ingenues off bridges and commits morally questionable acts, but off-screen, Rena Sofer has a big heart. The Bold and the Beautiful star recently revealed a cause close to her and she’s hoping others share her concern.

Rena Sofer: A Good Cause

“I just sponsored this little bug!!” Sofer wrote on Instagram, referring to a new little puppy she’s brought into her life. “@osito_bearcub_sft was just a baby when he was left alone on a roof and fell off. He will be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life!! But he is the cutest puppy ever!!”

Sadly, earlier this year, Sofer’s beloved dog, Iggy, a Brussels Griffon, passed away just shy of his 17th birthday. Now, she is encouraging folks to consider our fine, furry friends during this holiday season. “You can donate to a favorite charity or sponsor someone or something that touches your heart,” Sofer wrote. “Every little bit helps. Sofer joined the half-hour soap in 2013 as Quinn, Wyatt’s (Darin Brooks) mother. Viewers soon learned that she and Wyatt’s dad, Bill (Don Diamont), shared a tumultuous past, to say the least!
