The Bold and the Beautiful Star Katrina Bowden Reveals Her Favorite New App

There are a lot of apps out there, but The Bold and the Beautiful star Katrina Bowden (Flo) truly recommends one that has helped her a great deal. Her co-stars also think it’s a pretty neat program!

“After it [had been] sitting [in] a drawer for 8 months, I’ve started using my @fiveminutejournal [app],” Bowden recently shared with her followers on Instagram.

The Five Minute Journal is an app designed to guide its users to “becoming a happier, more productive, and wiser version of yourself—to assist you on a continuous journey of learning that leads to a new you. Why? We live in a world that is rapidly changing and it’s important to change with it at an equal momentum.”

Bowden says she enjoys using the app because it prompts her to face personal issues in her life, things she wants to address. “This is challenging on certain days (felt like I needed to take a break and walk around the block, know what I mean?) but wow…it needs to be done,” the actress posted.

The app also helps her with daily affirmations and could possibly help conquer some bad habits. “There’s a psycho side to me who wants to carry it around all day as a reminder to myself,” Bowden quips. “But I know that’s a little much lol right @kellykruger?”

“Hahaha damn it I love you,” Kruger replied to her real-life husband Darin Brooks’ (Wyatt) leading lady. “U totally can but the point is to do it, let it go and then come back to it at the end of the day. That’s how I saw the most change for me. This is the hardest thing to commit too but once you do it becomes such a great habit.”

“I have one!” chimed in Ashley Jones (Bridget). “Just need to use it!”

“Oooh start today!!” Bowden urged Jones. “I’m not the typical type who would like this I’d say…but it is great.” The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
