The Bold and the Beautiful Star Katrina Bowden Offers Up Some Sage Advice

Flo and Wyatt opened up their home temporarily to Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful when her marriage to Eric hit a snag. Flo’s portrayer, Katrina Bowden, is also a giver — but she also believes it’s important to know when to say no.

“‘If you’re a giver, remember to know your limits…because the takers don’t have any,’” Bowden recently shared on Instagram. “Posted [that] in my stories recently and so many of you resonated with it. I think it’s often difficult for us ‘givers’ to create appropriate boundaries but I’m working on it more and more.

“Saying no is hard for me,” she adds. “I hate the idea of letting anyone down. But the only one you let down by spreading yourself too thin is yourself. ….Did I just become your online therapist?!?! You’re welcome 🦋.”

Bowden’s philosophy is resonating with followers and pals including Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless), who is wed in real-life to Bowden’s BB leading man Darin Brooks (Wyatt).

“I just learned this recently and once I really started to set boundaries and only invest my time in equal give and take relationships everything changed for me,” Kruger responded. “You become so much happier and saying no doesn’t make u feel guilty it makes u feel empowered. 🙌🏻🙌🏻.”

While Flo and Wyatt showed a forgiving side to their natures when they opted not to press charges against Sally (Courtney Hope) and let her leave town to begin life anew in Genoa City (and on YR), Flo couldn’t help but spill some tea on her rival to Summer Newman (Hunter King). The Newman heiress came to Los Angeles for some business and to get the scoop on Sally.
