The Bold and the Beautiful Star Katrina Bowden Champions Minimalism

If Flo ends up moving in with Wyatt on The Bold and the Beautiful, he might not have to make a lot of closet space if Flo is as possession-conscious as her portrayer, Katrina Bowden, is!

“Guess what one really cool thing I’ve learned from traveling a lot?” Bowden rhetorically asked her fans on Instagram. “I don’t need much STUFF. In fact, for me, it’s refreshing to have less because it makes getting ready, being productive and enjoying myself every day easier. Wild concept right?”

Katrina Bowden is going to put this new attitude into action in the coming months. “Going to really hunker down this year and focus on clearing out stuff that doesn’t serve me or make me happy and will post the tips I pick up along the way…and maybe even document some of my organization hacks?? But I’m curious if any of you have any great tips for me as a jumping off point?? Leave them [on my post].”

Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless), the real-life wife, of Darin Brooks (Wyatt), chimed in on the post with a suggestion. “Literally Marie Kondo it,” Kruger suggested, referring to the author of The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing. “If it doesn’t bring u joy give it away. Did this when I did my closet and now ready again! Told u I’m doing my bathroom now… feels so good!”

“Love this!!!” added Ashley Jones (Bridget), who recently did a big closet overhaul. “Keep #whatbringsjoy/need to do the same…just 4-5 mo later I’m ready again! With everything.. household stuff, too. #addicting”
