As Flo Fulton on The Bold and the Beautiful, Katrina Bowden technically became a jailbird after she “flew” out of prison when a deal was cut for her to not have to remain there for her role in baby Beth’s kidnapping. Now, Bowden’s taken to flying in real-life!

Katrina Bowden And Flying

The BB actress recently shared on Instagram that she conquered her fear of flying by going skydiving!

“Life is short,” Bowden posted. “Time seems to fly by faster every single year and the last thing I want is to look back with regrets. It’s so easy to just be content not doing things that scare you, not challenging yourself, not being truly yourself because of fear of judgment, not stepping out of your box. But that’s not the life I want to live.”

Bowden says she recommends folks asking themselves what will truly make them happy in life. “Not just surface-level stuff, either,” she clarifies. “It may take some time to figure that [expletive] out (as it did for me)…but once you identify it and sit with it…decide to do MORE of those things.

What do you think? Post a comment!

“Pursue them relentlessly even when you feel uncomfortable- because that is when magic happens. That is when all your days start feeling happier. That is when you start becoming the best version of you. And that’s what we are all after, right?”

So, while Bowden is not recommending skydiving specifically, she does encourage people to open their minds so that they have no regrets. The actress appeared in the forefront of the baby Beth storyline, carrying the secret longer than anyone else other than Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady).

Flo found redemption after donating her kidney to Katie Logan (Heather Tom), her newfound aunt. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.

I conquered a huge fear last week. And it’s the best feeling in the world. What scares you? Do you face it? If not, why? Life is so short. Time seems to fly by faster every single year and the last thing I want is to look back with regrets. It’s so easy to just be content not doing things that scare you, not challenging yourself, not being truly yourself because of fear of judgement, not stepping out of your box. But that’s not the life I want to live. I highly recommend asking yourself what truly makes YOU happiest at your core. Not just surface level stuff, either. It may take some time to figure that shit out (as it did for me)…but once you identify it and sit with it…decide to do MORE of those things. Pursue them relentlessly even when you feel uncomfortable- because that is when magic happens. That is when all your days start feeling happier. That is when you start becoming the best version of you. And that’s what we are all after, right? . Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
