The Bold and the Beautiful, Katherine Kelly Lang
Since its early days, The Bold and the Beautiful has enjoyed popularity not only in the United States but also throughout the world. As a result, cast members have rubbed elbows with internationally known figures. Recently, Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke) reconnected with a member of royalty.

Lang and Bell weren’t the only U.S. soap opera attendees at the soiree. The Young and the Restless stars Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) and Eric Braeden (Victor) were also at the gala.
The gathering, as indicated in Lang’s tweet, was to celebrate The Monte Carlo TV Festival. First created by Prince Albert’s father, Prince Rainier III of Monaco, and now under the Honorary Presidency of Prince Albert II of Monaco, The Monte-Carlo Television Festival has, for more than 50 years, presented the very best of television from around the world.
BB made its debut in 1987 and introduced glitz and glamour to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, three decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.
From Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) iron grip on her family to Sheila’s (Kimberlin Brown) evil schemes to the epic love story of Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), BB knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Sadly, times are shifting and daytime soap operas are shrinking.
It is one of only four remaining soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), Days of our Lives (DAYS), and The Young and the Restless (YR). BB airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
