Technology is always advancing. Not only has Thomas come up with his own Hope doll on The Bold and the Beautiful, but there are also advanced ways of testing temperatures in this era of COVID-19. Recently, Jennifer Gareis, who plays Donna, showed how she has gotten her vitals taken.
Jennifer Gareis Playing It Safe
“#infared #bodytemperature #kiosk Coolest way to check your #temperature that I have seen yet! #staysafe #maskup #besafe,” Gareis tweeted. As you can see in her Instagram post below, the actress aligns herself with a machine so that her temperature can be taken.
“I have encountered those,” shares @sparkleeverydaystyle. “I am too short to line up with the face outline which makes an interesting situation 🤣.”
Gareis, who reportedly stands 5’6″, lines up quite nicely with device, which reported her temperature at 98.1 degrees. As Donna, Gareis plays the middle Logan sister. She was an original character on the show (played then by Carrie Mitchum). After a lengthy absence from the canvas, the character returned with Gareis in the role.
Donna went head-to-head against the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery) after she fell in love with Eric (John McCook). Might temperatures rise again with Donna and her “honey bear” now that Eric has had a falling out with wife Quinn (Rena Sofer)? Stay tuned to find out!
Earlier this summer, BB led the way with scripted shows returning to production. The show has implemented strict safety protocols. As viewers can see, actors stand far apart from one another. Scenes with more than two players in them are kept to a minimum and spouses and partners of actors are brought in to act as kissing doubles so that actors don’t have to have direct contact with one another.
Recently, BB celebrated producing 100 episodes since returning to production following the coronavirus production hiatus. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
