Jennifer Finnigan scored three Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series during her stint as Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful. Since exiting daytime, she’s landed a few series and now she’s working on another one.
Catching Up With Jennifer Finnigan
The actress, who hails from Canada, returned to her native country to film Feudal for CBC Television. The series is described as an epic tale of lust, legacy, and lobster. “Indeed,” Finnigan posted. “One week into shooting this show, and it already feels like magic. That badass lady in the left pic [in the post below] @elwood_sheri has written a show and created a world and a bunch crazy characters I feel so lucky to be a part of….and I get to live in beautiful Nova Scotia for a few months as an added bonus.
“It’s quirky, funny AF, emotional, and relatable,” the actress added. “Feels so good to be back at work, to feel some sense of normalcy again. Ok, so we’re all wearing masks, I’m getting a q-tip shoved into my brain once a week, and the world is going crazy. Finnigan’s character, Lidia, is an architect, the eldest sibling, who wants to develop and exploit some valuable coastal property. Anastasia Phillips (Reign) is Lidia’s younger sister Rhian, who is looking to shine on her own.

Other family members include another sister, Nora (Emma Hunter), a sexy local DJ, who knows all the family secrets. Alexander Nunez (Avocado Toast) as Sammy, a musical gifted sibling, who’s hanging onto a few secrets of his own.
Tom Stevens (Wayward Pines) plays Rhian’s twin, an aging party boy. Allegra Fulton (The Shape of Water) plays Jill, an old family friend who has her own agenda. Finnigan’s real-life husband, Jonathan Silverman (The Single Guy), plays Daniel Bennett, Lidia’s architect husband, who is suffering through a mid-life crisis.
