History Repeats
Most of you, 78% in fact, say, yes, Eric (John McCook) will indeed dump Quinn (Rena Sofer) once he finds out that she is behind Shauna (Denise Richards) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) getting together. It’s in his history to walk when he feels his mate has gone too far.
Eric packed his bags and walked out after he’d finally grown weary of Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) machinations. It didn’t help that Stephanie hated Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Quinn would do well to realize that Eric has a soft spot for her so, antagonizing Brooke isn’t really a smart move.
Forgiving Nature
While Eric has his limits, it does take a long time for them to be reached. Brooke once asked Stephanie how Eric would feel if he knew what she was up to – when she was up to no good!

Steph replied that Eric knows her to be a tenacious woman and that nothing she’d do would surprise him. There’s truth in this. Eric knows that Stephanie and Quinn go for what they want. And while he left Stephanie, it took him over 30 years to do so. And then he returned to her not once, but twice!
Sure, Eric was unaware of just how far his wife Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) would go, but he does tend to forgive, if not forget. And even though Brooke betrayed him and their wedding vows by sleeping with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Eric went ahead and married Brooke a second time. For such a savvy businessman, Eric has a way of letting his heart lead him. This is why nearly 22% of The Bold and the Beautiful believe that he will forgive Quinn.
War Of The Forresters
If Quinn and Eric were to break up, viewers could likely count on one heck of a divorce! Quinn wouldn’t want to go quietly and she’d probably demand a big chunk of Forrester as part of a divorce settlement. While she hasn’t been kind towards Brooke, it’s not like Quinn’s been unfaithful. She loves Eric deeply and, from her point of view, Brooke started this by her telling him to get rid of his wife.
But that’s something Eric might find difficult to do. In other words, don’t expect Quinn’s portrait to go anywhere anytime soon! Stay tuned to see if and when Quinn is exposed and what Eric’s reaction will be. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
