Steffy may be a ways off from delivering her second baby on The Bold and the Beautiful, but her portrayer, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, has welcomed hers into the world! The actress gave birth to a baby boy on February 21.
Little Lenix made his debut on Sunday and the actress made the announcement this afternoon on Instagram, which is the same place she announced she was expecting her second baby last October. “Once you pop, the fun don’t stop! Round 2 Lego! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻#23weeks,” Wood posted to Instagram.
Recently, Wood revealed the gender of her child. In an elaborate video set to the tune of Diana Ross’s hit “I’m Coming Out,” Woods can be seen wearing bright shades of pink and blue and yellow. In it, she takes off various colored wigs as anticipation for the gender reveal grows until she revealed that she and her husband Elan Ruspoli were having another son! Their first, Rise Harlan, was born on March 4, 2019, and he is now a big brother!
BB wrote Woods’ pregnancy into the show. By the end of 2020, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) let Liam (Scott Clifton) know that she was pregnant. The two had had an unplanned romp after Liam mistakenly believed that his wife Hope (Annika Noelle) was kissing Thomas (Matthew Atkinson). After commiserating with Steffy, the two exes fell into bed together.
As Steffy is also involved with Finn (Tanner Novlan), there was potential for him to be the father too. And considering how odd Vinny has been acting lately, Finn just may be the father after all. In the meantime, will the respective relationships between Steffy and Finn, and Hope and Liam survive? Stay tuned!
Soap Hub congratulates Wood, Ruspoli, and Rise on the blessed new addition to their family. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for airtimes.
