Fans fell in love with legacy character young Douglas Forrester the minute his portrayer, Henry Joseph Samiri, hit the screen. He joined The Bold and the Beautiful in March 2019 and became not only an instant hit with fans, but the character played a vital role in the show’s biggest storyline.

Good News For Henry Joseph Samiri

Douglas had learned that Phoebe, the little girl that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had adopted was in reality, Beth, the presumed deceased daughter of Liam (Scott Clifton) and Hope (Annika Noelle). Douglas went against his father’s (Thomas, Matthew Atkinson) wishes and blabbed the truth, which played a key role in reuniting the infant with her natural parents.

Now, Samiri has some more big news to share! “How we felt to learn we once again booked a job together!!!” Samiri posted on his Instagram account along with a photo of himself and his sister, who has apparently also booked a gig. “This time we’ll travel. ✈️ 🎥💛🎬,” Samiri posted, “#excited #siblinglove #workingtogether #funtimes #grateful #travelforwork #workadventures #blessedlife #wehavethebestteam.”

You can check out his reaction in the post below. The young actor received a congratulatory message on his post from The Young and the Restless’ Judah Mackey (Connor), who wrote: “This is so exciting!!!! Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉❤️”

Douglas, as The Bold and the Beautiful devotees know, is named after his paternal grandmother, the late Stephanie (Susan Flannery), whose maiden name is Douglas. Douglas’s other relatives include, but are not limited to his great aunt Pam (Alley Mills), his paternal grandfather Eric (John McCook), his aunt Steffy, and his great uncle Thorne, and great aunts Felicia (Lesli Kay) and Kristen (Tracy Melchior).

On his late mother Caroline’s (Linsey Godfrey) side, Douglas’s grandmother is Karen (Joanna Johnson) and his great uncle is Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

In fact, it might be easier to list the folks on BB whom Douglas isn’t related to! Time will tell as to when we’ll see Douglas onscreen once more. As far as his fans are concerned, it can’t be soon enough! The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
