Move over, Ryan Seacrest! The Bold And The Beautiful star Denise Richards is quickly turning into Hollywood’s busiest person! The woman who brings Shauna to life on the half-hour soap has an exciting new project coming up!
Richards will play an overly-ambitious mother (is there any other kind?) to her cheerleading daughter in The Secret Lives Of Cheerleaders. The BB star plays Candice, whose daughter Ava (Savannah May), tries out for her school’s cheerleading squad, reluctantly.
There’s a plot development when Katrina (Allie DeBerry), the head cheerleader and most popular girl in school, cozies up to Ava, who enjoys newfound popularity at school.
However, Ava soon discovers that being a part of the “cool” group comes with a price! What danger does Ava face? And will her mom be able to help her out of any predicaments?
In addition to this film and her recurring gig as Shauna, Richards also is a cast member of The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. Other upcoming projects include her role as Bentley in the series Paper Empire and roles in the films Amazon Lost, Alpha Code, and Switched!
The Secret Lives Of Cheerleaders is set to premiere Monday, September 2 at 8 p.m. ET. The Bold And The Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
