The Bold and the Beautiful Star Darin Brooks Celebrates International Women’s Day

Wyatt Spencer tries his best to honor women on The Bold and the Beautiful. He’s given pass after pass to his interfering mama, Quinn, and he’s stepped up to make the final weeks (days?) of Sally’s life happy ones. Off-screen, Wyatt’s portrayer, Darin Brooks, is a big champion of women, too!

Brooks, in honor of International Women’s Day, posted an Instagram photo of himself along with wife, Kelly Kruger (ex-Mac, The Young and the Restless), and their daughter, Everleigh Jolie.

IWD, AKA International Women’s Day, is celebrated on March 8 each year, worldwide. The first one began over 100 years ago in New York City on February 28, 1909. The United Nations theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was: “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights.”

Brooks and Kruger met on the set of his primetime series Blue Mountain State, in which he played college football star Alex Moran. Kruger guest-starred in an episode as reporter Julia King. The couple began dating and wed in Hawaii on March 21, 2016.

While Brooks has worked mostly non-stop on BB since his debut in 2013, Kruger has both recurred as Eva, Forrester International’s ace publicist, and reprised her role as Mac on The Young and the Restless. The couple welcomed daughter Everleigh on September 22, 2019.

Brooks first made the daytime scene as Max Brady on Days of our Lives in 2005. He won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Leading Actor in 2009 and departed Salem in 2011. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
