Nominees for the Daytime Emmys aren’t coming out till next year, but Courtney Hope, who plays Sally Spectra on The Bold and the Beautiful, has something to cheer about! She’s received a nod from the Game Awards, which celebrates and honors the finest in video games.
Hope is nominated in the category of Performance, which is awarded to Individual for Voice-Over Acting, Motion and/or Performance Capture for her role as Jesse Faden in the video game Control.

Developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by 505 Games, Control is an action/adventure video game that deals with the Federal Bureau of Control, aka FBC, a secret U.S. government agency that’s in charge of analyzing phenomena that violates laws of reality. Hope’s character, Jesse, is FBC’s new Director.
Hope’s competition includes Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen, who portray, respectively, Sam Porter Bridges and Cliff, respectively, in Death Stranding, Ashly Burch as Parvati Holcomb, The Outer Worlds, Laura Bailey as Kait Diaz in Gears 5, and Matthew Porretta as Dr. Casper Darling in Control.
