The Bold and the Beautiful The Young and the Restless Adrienne Frantz
The Bold and the Beautiful star Adrienne Frantz played out two memorable pregnancy storylines on the half-hour soap. One was deeply dramatic and the other, while also dramatic, had a humorous angle to it. Now, in real-life, Frantz is living a pregnancy drama.
“#pregnantduringapandemic is not so easy,” Frantz posted on Instagram. “I have to try really hard to keep myself calm. With pregnancy hormones flowing, doc apts alone, and the normal panic attacks that usually settle in at some point of the day. I try to stay strong and happy for my little 4-year-old girl. Blessed to have my family! #staysafe.”
Frantz and husband Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy, Guiding Light) are already parents to daughter Amélie Irene, 4. The couple announced earlier this year that she’s expecting their second child later this year.
The actress joined The Bold and the Beautiful in 1997 following her stint as Tiffany on Sunset Beach. Her first baby storyline on BB was lying to Rick (Jacob Young; Justin Torkildsen) that the son they were raising was really theirs when, in reality, the baby belonged to Amber’s cousin Becky (Marissa Tait). The truth came out when Amber tearfully confessed all to Rick and the couple’s relationship was never the same.
Amber’s second baby story occurred years later with a happier ending. It was believed that either Liam (Scott Clifton) or Oliver (Zack Conroy) was going to be revealed as the father of Amber’s daughter Rosie. Only it turned out that Marcus (Texas Battle) was the dad!
Might Amber someday return to the canvas? As Marcus is Eric’s (John McCook) adopted son, Rosie is technically a Forrester, too.
