The Bold and the Beautiful star Adrienne Frantz was involved in two pregnancy storylines during her run as Amber Moore on the half-hour soap. Now, she’s got some baby news to share in real-life.
Frantz, who has played Amber on both BB and The Young and the Restless, is expecting her second child in real-life with husband Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy, Guiding Light).
“I thought I’d spread some good news today!” the Emmy-winning performer posted on Instagram. “Look what we are cooking up!! We are having a baby!!! Can’t wait for @scottbaileyofficial to be a father again!!! #surprise #Impregnant #overthemoon #babyontheway.”
Frantz debuted on BB in 1998 as Amber where she became Rick’s (Jacob Young) babysitter and, later, his lover. Amber gave birth to Rick’s child, who died shortly after birth. She tried to pass off her cousin Becky’s (Marissa Tait) child as her own. Eventually, Amber came clean, which resulted in her split from Rick.
Years later, Amber was pregnant and there was a question as to who the father was. It turned out to be Marcus’s (Texas Battle) child. Soon after giving birth, Amber faded from the canvas. She popped up a few years later in Genoa City on YR when mourners gathered for a memorial for Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper).
The real-life couple is already parents to daughter Amélie Irene, 4. No word yet on whether the couple is expecting a boy or a girl. Babies aren’t the only joint production for Frantz and Bailey. They are set to star in the crime film Poster Cellar — which is about a store that sells movie memorabilia and the various people who cross its threshold. The film is written and directed by Doug Maguire.
