The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday, January 31 promise that big changes produce old rivalries.

Eric Makes An Offer!
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) has spent the last few months to get back into the CEO seat a Forrester–and it looks like his dream may come true. Eric (John McCook) is finally ready to talk and see if they can make things work.

However, it won’t be on Ridge’s terms. If Ridge comes back, he’ll be on a short leash and under Eric’s control.

Father Vs. Daughter?
Unfortunately, that’s not the worst of it. Returning will also mean working side by side with Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as co-CEO, and Ridge’s pride may not be able to handle it. Having Steffy as a shareholder is one thing, but sharing the spotlight is something totally different!

The Green-Eyed Monster!
Meanwhile, Thomas’s (Pierson Fode) jealousy over Steffy’s success eats away at him. He’s older, more mature, and works twice as hard as his little sister. The throne belongs to him and he can’t believe he wasn’t in the running.

Also, Steffy’s personal life is a complete disaster and takes up all her time. Her ongoing love feelings for Wyatt and Liam are distracting the entire family and eventually business will suffer!

Thomas deserves the chance to prove his worth and Eric better make him an offer before he decides to jump ship.
