The Bold and the Beautiful recaps for July 19 – July 23, 2021, feature Carter Walton and Quinn Forrester trying, and failing, to keep their distance (and their hands off each other), and Paris Buckingham accepting a very generous offer.
Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn (Rena Sofer) are unable to resist temptation; they make love for the third time, and afterward, they promise themselves, once again, that they’ll refrain from repeating their past actions.
When an article misidentified him and Brook Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) as the Co-CEO’s of Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) ordered an immediate edit. Brooke inquired as to the possibility of making the headline factual; Ridge mused that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) would take umbrage.
Carter and Quinn narrowly avoided been caught out when Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Ridge initiated a video chat. However, Quinn’s carelessly tossed aside garment caught Ridge’s eye, and he wondered aloud if Carter was entertaining female company; Eric demanded that Carter come to the office posthaste.
Steffy disappointed John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) with her refusal to immediately marry him rather than go through with the grand ceremony they’ve previously planned. Finn visibly tensed when the conversation turned to his parents, whom Steffy has yet to meet.
A visiting Paris (Diamond White) impressed the couple with her affinity for children, and her ability to easily calm fussy Hayes. When Paris offhandedly mentioned her so far fruitless search for suitable accommodation, Finn and Steffy suggested that she move in with them. Paris gleefully accepted.
Once Carter put in his appearance at the design house, Eric revealed that he wants to divest the company of Quinn’s jewelry line. The stance stuns both Carter and Ridge; Carter put forth a strong argument to save the line – but Eric imposed stringent conditions.
Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) hosted Quinn, but her mood and mannerisms struck the two as odd. Meanwhile, Broke was aghast to learn that the company was still doing business with Quinn.
Carter phoned, then texted Quinn, begging her to meet him at his apartment. When she arrived, Carter filled her in on the latest goings-on. She’s touched that he went to bat for her; the two of them eventually fall into another passionate clinch.
