The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 2-6, 2020, features Liam being clued in on Thomas’s disturbing new pastime, Quinn getting a taste of her own medicine, and a surprising new arrival.
In between fishing for compliments and pouting that he isn’t the lead designer on the Hope For the Future collection, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) continued his steep descent into madness.
He reassembled his Hope (Annika Noelle) doll, lied to a probing Charlie (Dick Christie) about its whereabouts, and continued to manipulate the object of his affection. Oh, and he carried on conversations with the doll.
Thomas’s happy home with Mannequin Hope was rudely disrupted by a nosy Liam (Scott Clifton) who, though blown away by the craftsmanship, disapproved of his rival sporting a life-sized replica of his wife. Hurtful words were exchanged, condemnation was levied and Liam, surprising, left Thomas’s apartment alive.
But that’s only because Plastic Hope had yet to make her ultimate pitch to Thomas: “KILL LIAM!” Thomas was a little taken aback by the sudden shift down Murderers Lane, but that’s not to say that he wasn’t there for the suggestion.
Shauna (Denise Richards) and Quinn (Rena Sofer)…Thelma and Louise they ain’t. The former has moved into the guest house co-owned by the latter and the latter certainly isn’t happy about it.
In fact, Quinn told her “bestie” to leave and pronto…even when Shauna insisted that she was only lounging at Chez Forrester in order to force a reconciliation between Quinn and Eric (John McCook).
But Eric wouldn’t permit Miss Fulton to gracefully exit – and no, not in a creepy Thomas kind of way. He complimented her on her restraint, her ability to feel remorse, her kindness, and her all-around positive energy. He insisted that was all needed in a house formerly occupied by Quinn and gallantly returned her suitcase to the guest quarters.
And judging by that sly smile she broke in to in response, that was exactly the result Shauna had been anticipating. Quinn, girl, you had better watch your back. Seems like you’ve created a monster!
Zoe: “Carter *ahem* Look who’s here. Meet my sister, Paris.” Carter: “Hi, hey…I’ve heard so much about you.” Have you Carter? Because Zoe has been on-screen for a few years now and this is the first we’re hearing of a second Ms. Buckingham. But we like her well enough so far…and we can totally see shipping her and Zende (Delon de Metz).
Ridge: “I just had an idea…the next time there’s an obstacle, how about we don’t go through it or try to go under it, go over it. We’ll just go around it. Smooth sailing.”
Oh, so the next time your wife says, “Honey I’m worried about [insert crazy thing Thomas has gotten up to know],” or, “Honey, maybe you shouldn’t hang around that obviously besotted Desert Trash,” you’ll actually listen instead of sulking off to daddy’s house?
Liam (re: Thomas): “A long-distance phone call to your psychiatrist mother once a week is not therapy.” No, no it’s not. And even if it were, it’s not working. Like, at all. And perhaps the woman who murdered Darla, shot Bill (Don Diamont) in the back, and (unwittingly) involved her daughter in a black market baby ring isn’t exactly the best person to be taking advice from.
Thomas: “Liam…you make mistakes all the time but you go around telling people, ‘You should correct this, you should correct that,’ when sitting there doing the same thing over and over again like stringing Hope and Steffy along. You’re addicted to it. You LOVE it!”
He might be crazier than a common loon, but Thomas has a certain kind of clarity where Liam is concerned. Always has, always will. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
