The Bold and the Beautiful recap for October 28-November 1, 2019 features Ridge and Shauna engaging in some activities usually reserved for lovers rather than friends and a scheme engineered by offspring-hungry Hope.
After getting settled in at his new digs, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) matched Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) — removed wedding ring for removed wedding ring.
When Eric (John McCook) tried to dissuade him, pouty Ridge huffed, “She took hers off first,” begging the question between Ridge and Douglas — who is acting like an actual child?
Furthermore, Ridge decided that Brooke’s comments about Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) — that he is dangerous and abusive — were disrespectful and if there’s one thing Ridge can not abide, it’s disrespect.
Too bad Eric didn’t ask him if his definition of disrespect, included sleeping with his father’s bride but let’s suppose he didn’t want to kick the man when he’s down.
Following his consumption of a few glasses of what was presumably fine bourbon, Ridge retired to the guest house where he awoke its current occupant — Shauna (Denise Richards). Adding insult to the injury of being awakened from a sound sleep, Ms. Fuller had to face her hunky crush in a face mask that made her look like she was “from a galaxy far, far away.”
After giggling over the incident, Shauna and Ridge engaged in some light smooching than set down to have a serious confab during which Ridge admitted, “I want my marriage. I want my wife.”
Deciding that what Ridge needed were friendship and tenderness, his pseudo mistress offered it to him and the two wound up spending the night together. But least you think that he slept with her, Shauna spent the next morning explaining to Quinn (Rena Sofer) they simply engaged in some conversation.
Thomas And His Indecent Proposal
Having spent an agonizing 24-hours away from Douglas, Hope (Annika Noelle) was more determined than ever to extract him from his mentally unstable and potentially violent father. And, let’s face it, the girl isn’t that far off base. Just ask Emma — oh wait, you can’t because she’s dead!
Having snuck off to have a secret meeting with an adoption lawyer, Hope returned with interesting news — in California, a child can have more than two legal parents — and an audacious plan: charm Thomas into signing adoption papers making her Douglas’ mother, and then use her position to gain full custody.
Sounds like a slam dunk, yes? Well, except for her decision to lie to Liam (Scott Clifton), the rest of the Forrester family — and the fact that Thomas is is still obsessed with her.
But, Hope persevered. She even wrangled an invitation to visit Douglas where she broached the subject with Thomas. Later, after attending a Halloween party with the Forresters, Thomas escorted Hope …continue reading on the next page —>
But, Hope persevered. She even wrangled an invitation to visit Douglas where she broached the subject with Thomas. Later, after attending a Halloween party with the Forresters, Thomas escorted Hope to his room where he promised to put his John Hancock on whatever necessary documents but only after he gets to know her “like a man and a woman should.”
Do you agree with Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) assertion that Douglas calling Hope mommy is weird? How about her opinion that Hope is obsessed with becoming Douglas’ mom.
Raise your hand if you were surprised by Liam’s admission that he didn’t want to adopt Douglas. That kid served his purpose so why the heck would Liam want to reward him with a stable loving home? The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
