The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, January 23 features one moment of truth, some dark lies, and a baby’s disturbing future unfolding.
You Did What?!
Florence (Katrina Bowden) didn’t take too kindly to Reese’s story. However, despite her disgust she didn’t do anything to stop him. In fact, she agreed to continue helping – for Zoe’s (Kiara Barnes) sake.
Sure, kidnapping and selling a baby is wrong, but it’d be worse if Zoe ended up dead. At least that’s what these two criminals are telling themselves.
Knowing his secret was safe, Reese made the call for Taylor (Hunter King) to bring Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) over. It was time for the Forrester heiress to meet the baby.
Already In Love
Of course, Reese wasn’t there when the women arrived. He skipped out and had lunch with his daughter instead.
It was clear the situation didn’t feel right to Steffy. Meeting Flo was awkward and felt rushed. However, all doubt left the room when the baby was placed in her arms.
Steffy stared down at Beth’s little face and knew she was meant to be part of her family. She’s been waiting months for Kelly to have a sister and there she was, in the flesh, and it felt right.
Deep In Mourning
Meanwhile, Liam (Scott Clifton) did his best to console Hope (Annika Noelle) but everything he said and did make things worse. Her loss is too heavy for words and she refused to allow him to help.
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) came to check on the couple and found Liam alone. Hope went for a walk leaving him to fight his own tears.
Wyatt was a great listener and comfort to his brother, especially after being told Steffy’s plans to adopt. It’s all too soon and both men worried about how Hope would react.
The walk did Hope some good and when she got back she apologized for her outbursts and promised to try to make life work again. She wasn’t sure how but she’d find her way.
