The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, August 13, 2020, features more Vegas wedding drama. Ridge tried to explain himself to Brooke, his wife relived her first night as Mrs. Ridge Forrester, and Donna got the dirt from Eric.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) reeled from Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) news. Yes, he married Shauna (Denise Richards). Um, yep, he divorced Brooke right before. Sure, Shauna has proof. No, he did not remember a single thing about any of it.
Poor Brooke was blindsided but also suspicious of the whole thing. How drunk did Ridge have to be to not remember a divorce and a wedding? Something was fishy but Ridge assured her it happened. He may not love Shauna but now he was tied to her for the foreseeable future.
As for his blushing bride, she and Quinn (Rena Sofer) relived the whole ordeal. As expected, Brooke was right and these two had huge hands in that night’s events. They plotted the divorce, planned the trip to the altar, and Shauna even persuaded her old work buddy to perform the ceremony even after the officiant realized the groom was way, way too drunk. It was all very shady behavior.
There was a bright light in this storm though, at least for Ridge. It seems he was too drunk to consummate the marriage. By the time he was sobering up the FC pilot was there to drag him back to LA. Shauna got the wedding but she did not get the wedding night.
Over at the office, Eric (John McCook) unloaded on Donna (Jennifer Gareis) and told her the whole tale. It was an ugly situation but now they had to deal with it. Donna was stunned. This was not good and she worried about her sister.
Meanwhile, Hope (Annika Noelle) and Zoe (Kiara Barnes) agreed to move forward with their business relationship and friendship. The HFTF line needed them both and they were ready to make it a wild success. They even came up with a new project to bring an intern on board and start a scholarship fund for the line. Things were looking up. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
