The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, August 24, 2020, features a reunion going all wrong, Quinn’s plan working (but in a way she did not expect), and a budding couple heating up the screen.
Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) rehashed some of their most-terrible times. They also talked about how those awful moments brought them closer. Brooke was still suspicious about Ridge not remembering anything from his wedding, and he admitted he was still leery of Bill (Don Diamont). They vowed to not let these troublemakers come between them again. They were soulmates and that was all that really mattered.
Quinn (Rena Sofer) continued to work her own agenda, talking Bill into going after the Logan sister. Now is the time, Dollar Bill, the window is small, and it is closing in fast. Bill threw caution to the wind and went to find Brooke.
Ridge was upstairs when Bill arrived, so he made his big play for Brooke. He vowed to always love her and be there for her, admitting that their kiss had reawakened his passion for her. Brooke admitted that a part of her would always love him, too.
Sadly, Ridge heard only that sentiment. He reached his breaking point and left. Little did he know, there was more. After Brooke admitted to having past feelings for Bill, she made it clear that Ridge was her future, now and forever.
Over at the Forrester mansion, Eric (John McCook) came across a sulky Shauna and apologized for being harsh. She is a lovely lady, but he cautioned her nothing ever comes between Brooke and Ridge for long. They always get back together.
Quinn came home singing a different tune, though. She assured her friend that all was well. Her plan was in action, and this would destroy Ridge and Brooke once and for all. Shauna was relieved.
Over at the office, Zoe (Kiara Barnes) came across a shirtless Carter (Lawrence Saint-Vincent), and sparks began flying. He asked how she was, and it came out that Thomas wanted another chance. (That’s not going to happen, buddy.) Zoe deserves better. Well, Carter had a solution: Date him instead! He invited her out to dinner, and Zoe readily agreed.
