The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) recap for January 23 features fallout from the truth and a furious confrontation!
Violation
At Spencer, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) confronted Bill (Don Diamont). Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wasn’t herself, and yet Bill took advantage of her like the predator that he is, and Ridge won’t stand for it! As far as Ridge is concerned, Bill forced himself on Steffy.
Bill insisted that Ridge is wrong and that he didn’t take advantage, but Ridge reminded him how he betrayed his own son and declared there would be consequences and turned to leave.
Then Bill yelled out Steffy needed a friend. It was mutual, and Bill demanded a chance to explain. Ultimately, he told Ridge he loves Steffy but he wants to see Liam and Steffy together regardless of his feelings. He asked Ridge for help convincing Liam to stay with Steffy.
Enraged, Ridged charged at and punched Bill. He warned Bill to stay away from his daughter and threatened to put him in prison.
Hard Truths
While Ridge dealt with Bill, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) went to check on Steffy. There she learned the happy news of Steffy’s pregnancy followed quickly by the absolute shock of the fact that she had a paternity test for her unborn child because there was another man — Bill!
Why would Steffy and Bill do that to Brooke (because it is all always about Brooke)? Brooke demanded an explanation, and then, horrified, she suggested that perhaps Bill forced himself on her, but Steffy assured her the one-time mistake was mutual.
Ultimately, Steffy shared that, despite her pleas, Ridge believed that Bill took advantage of Steffy, which worried Brooke.
Ultimately, Steffy begged Brooke to help make sure Ridge knows that the situation was mutual and Bill didn’t take advantage of her.
Paradise?
Meanwhile, Katie (Heather Tom) and Wyatt (Darin Brooks) are at their best together. He was tickling her in bed when a text from Brooke about Steffy and Liam interrupted things. They both worried about the rest of their family, but Wyatt pointed out that everybody else’s problems aren’t theirs.
Of course, the fact that they’re still mostly under wraps in their little bubble means that they aren’t quite living in the real world just yet. Their happiness may not last.
