The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Tuesday, August 27, 2019, features a day of panic, worry, accusations, and bombshells. News of Thomas’s situation spread, as did everyone’s opinions!
YOU Did This!
The hospital became a tense scene as Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) waited on word of Thomas’s (Matthew Atkinson) condition. Can he recover? Will he recover? Dr. Armstrong (Vincent Irizarry) wasn’t sure about anything at this point.
The waiting game quickly turned into a finger-pointing session. Ridge took out his frustration and did not hold back while berating his wife. She did this. This is her fault. How dare she pretend she did not want this. She’s always despised his children and took the golden opportunity to get rid of one of them!
Of course, Brooke took issue with every accusation. She may not like Thomas but she wouldn’t hurt him (or anyone) on purpose. Violence is not in her DNA. (Sure, Jan).
Another Shocker
Meanwhile, Bill (Don Diamont), Wyatt (Darin Brooks), Katie (Heather Tom), and Justin (Aaron D. Spears) talked about the last few months. Their family was put through the wringer. The baby’s kidnapping, Flo lying to everyone, Liam bouncing around. Thankfully, things can settle down now, right? Wrong.
Wyatt got the call from Liam about Thomas and the Spencer clan was speechless, well, except Bill. Karma, he said. It’s all Karma. Thomas is finally getting what he deserved!
Wrong, Wrong, All Wrong
Hope (Annika Noelle) did not feel that way, of course. She and Liam (Scott Clifton) fretted around the cliff house wringing their hands and waiting for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). The longer they were there, the more regrets Hope had.
She decided Thomas was not a danger, he was only trying to talk (despite grabbing her multiple times) and her mother was wrong. She decided to head straight to the hospital to spill her side of this whole tale.
Hope threw all Logan-ladies-stick-together good cheer out the window when she gave her rundown of the ordeal. Yes, Thomas was touchy-feely, but it was only because he’s really, really sorry and Brooke completely misread the situation. She was never REALLY in danger. She just ran because she THOUGHT she was. Silly Hope.
Silly Brooke too. How could she think those obvious red flags were really red flags. She misread everything!
