The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, February 17, 2021, features Bridget paying Brooke a visit, Hope falling apart, Finn reeling, and Vinny saying some rather odd things.
Finn (Tanner Novlan) continued struggling with the paternity reveal. He very much loves Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and did not want to break up but he did not know how he could stay, either. Her being pregnant with another man’s child sure put a damper on the romance.
Steffy acknowledged his feelings and tried to work through them. She was disappointed too. Steffy was hoping to name the baby John Finnegan Jr. after him if it was a boy. She was sure they could get over the daddy drama and find a way to be a family. Finn was not so sure but also didn’t walk out the door.
Over at the cottage, Hope (Annika Noelle) had a serious meltdown. She was tired of being Liam’s (Scott Clifton) doormat. He is a liar and a cheater and enough was enough for her. Hope yelled, she sobbed, and she told Liam she couldn’t do this anymore.
Liam did not pack his bags, though. He reminded her they always get through the tough spots and promised to spend the rest of his life cherishing their love. Sure, where has Hope heard that before?
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) texted Steffy until she finally answered him. “Not Finn’s” she texted (without actually saying the baby is Liam’s). Ridge told Brooke, who had a fit. She came close to spiraling out of control but a visit from Bridget (Ashley Jones) brought her back to reality. Bridget is here to cover shifts for a friend and realized she came back at the exact right time.
Meanwhile, at the main office, Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) was rocked when Ridge messaged him the paternity results. He was heartbroken for Hope. Someone who wasn’t sad was Vinny (Joe LoCicero). He even congratulated Thomas on this win since, “It’s Liam’s kid now, right?” (What a weird way to put it, Vinny).
Vinny then grabbed his white lab coat and left to go back to work. The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
