The Bold and the Beautiful recap for December 2-6, 2019, more manipulations, a slip of the tongue and the possible end for a venerable supercouple.
There was a lot of trouble for folks this past week. Take Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Sure, his marriage is a total bust because he refuses to accept the fact that his son is a man slaughtering, death-faking, child-abusing sociopath. But, he has the ‘breezy’ Shauna (Denise Richards) at his beck and call and what’s more, she ‘understands’ him.
And Shauna is getting to live her best life and fulfill her life long dream of making out with Ridge Forrester in the Forrester mansion on the Forrester couch. If that doesn’t deserve a shout out at the family dinner table then nothing else does.
Oh, and Hope (Annika Noelle) was thankful that she now has shared custody of Douglas. It really ticks Liam (Scott Clifton) off but his wife is happy and child-rearing keeps her from crying so it’s a win-win for him and for the audience.
Were Sally (Courtney Hope) to have scored an invitation to family dinner she could have given thanks for having Liam — oops, make that Wyatt — in her life. Yes, she did call her fiancée by another man’s name.
And yes, the man happens to be the certain someone that she made out with a few times while they were both being slowly crushed to death by demolition debris, because what else are you going to do when being slowly crushed to death by demolition debris and lying next to someone who’s just as hot as you are?
And yes, the man happens to be the brother of the man she is currently engaged to. But even more awkward things have happened on this show so the matter was quickly resolved and now ol’ Red and the …continue reading on the next page —>
And yes, the man happens to be the brother of the man she is currently engaged to. But even more awkward things have happened on this show so the matter was quickly resolved and now ol’ Red and the Spencer spare are right as rain. Yay?
One couple that is obviously not all right is “Bridge.” Perhaps Quinn (Rena Sofer) hit the nail on the head when she dismissed it as a million-year-old coupling that had simply run its course.
Whatever the reasons, it’s clear that Ridge and Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) are heading towards splitsville and the only thing that will save the marriage is Brooke saying three little words — “I forgive Thomas.”
And Ridge wants her to really, really mean it. She has to forgive him for perpetuating the lie that baby Beth was dead and for using his son to try and get Hope into bed and she most certainly has to forgive the fact that he faked his death to prove that, “good people keep bad secrets.”
Good luck with that Ridge, good luck with that. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
