The Bold and the Beautiful recap for December 9-13, 2019, features Ridge and Brooke bidding the married life adieu, Hope making a healthy decision (finally!), and Liam trying to form a We Hate Thomas Club.
Despite his best efforts to the contrary, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) just couldn’t convince Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) to forgive Thomas his sins. He practically hit the roof when his wife suggested that Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) needed professional help and he most certainly didn’t appreciate being reminded that his son is the cause of Emma Barber’s death.
Realizing that they could never reach a compromise, Ridge pulled out his trusty fountain pen and signed all three copies of the divorce decree that he had brought over “just in case.”
Brooke, dejected and sure that Ridge would never understand her point of view, added her Jane Hancock — and left behind two perfectly timed teardrops on the signature line. Somebody in the County Clerk’s office is bound to see that she was uber sad.
Well, not if Brooke has anything to say about it. Right before Ridge walked out the door she implored him not to file the papers. Upon his exit she whispered a little prayer, “May the day you realize who Thomas really is, be the day you come back to me.” You’ll have a long wait sister.
Thomas did his damndest to convince Hope (Annika Noelle) to return to Forrester Creations and work with him to relaunch Hope For The Future. When it looked like she might be wavering, Thomas broached the topic with Ridge who replied that he was more interested in the clothing line that Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was pitching.

Undeterred, Thomas suggested a fashion show rumble with the winner determined by the number of orders placed buyers. Ridge was suitably intrigued while Steffy and Hope were a bit put out.
However, both women rose to the occasion and Hope stunned everyone by dumping Thomas as her line’s designer. No matter though. Rather than get angry, Thomas instead retreated into a fantasy world where all the Logan’s were dead save for Hope, who was now his prim and proper wife who extolled her husband’s many virtues.
Without a word of a lie, Liam’s (Scott Clifton) pitch to Steffy about the possibility of a team-up to find out once and for all how warped Thomas is, was solid.
Sure, he caused her immeasurable sadness but he is — as both she and Ridge frequently point out — family. Forgiveness or revenge Steffy? Ball’s in your court.
Remember Zoe (Kira Barnes)? Thomas didn’t. Turns out she had spent the past month — maybe even month and a half — over at Vinny’s apartment, twiddling her thumbs and waiting on her former bully to get her a job at Forrester. By the way, he had yet to do so.
Wyatt (Darin Brooks) got the spotlight for about a minute and used it to complain to Liam about Sally (Courtney Hope) mixing up their names. As soon as his tale was over, Liam shrugged his shoulders (he does this quite frequently) gave him some advice that amounted to “get over it.”
Then he launched into an ad nauseam tirade about Thomas. Talk about brotherly love. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
