The Bold and the Beautiful recap for May 25-29, 2020, features a look back at some of the biggest celebrities who paid this soap a visit… and there were a lot of them.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Only in the fictional world of BB could Amber Moore (Adrienne Frantz) have gone to school with Usher. And only in this heightened reality could The Price Is Right’s former long time host beat the snot out of a man at least three decades his junior. And where else would you find sweet-as-pie Betty White playing such a vicious monster? Say what you will about this show, but they sure know how to cast!
Rock On
Way back in 1998, Usher appeared as Raymond, a former acquaintance of Amber’s who had agreed to serenade the patrons of Insomnia. He flirted outrageously with Amber, who was a very taken lady – even if she and Rick (Jacob Young) were having some problems.
Viewers saw the crooner make sure that Amber received the name of his hotel and room number but what they didn’t see was the aftermath. Amber did indeed join him there. And they made love. Amber became pregnant with his child, passed it off as Rick’s and then – after her baby was stillborn – she bought her cousin’s. Yeah, it was as complicated as it sounds.
Mama Drama
Ann Douglas (Betty White) wasn’t much of a mother to Stephanie (Susan Flannery) when she was a child. She stood by and watched as her husband mercilessly abused the young girl and then did her best to convince herself that Stephanie had asked for the beatings.
Decades later, nothing much had changed. Ann foisted herself onto Stephanie and Eric (John McCook), expecting free room and board, and all the while she judged her eldest’s life choices. When Stephanie pushed back, Ann decided that perhaps Pam (Alley Mills) would make a much better Mrs. Forrester!
She Looks Familiar
Before she played a virgin named Jane, Gina Rodriguez played a Forrester Creations intern named Beverly. Beverly liked Rick. Rick liked Beverly. Amber hated Beverly and the feeling was mutual.
What’s The Actual Retail Value of That Beating?
Bob Barker has but two simple requests: Have your pets spayed or neutered and don’t call him a wacko. When Wyatt persisted in doing the latter, Barker punched him in the face not once, not twice, (not even thrice) but SEVEN times. He also added in a gut punch, a fist to the back of the neck. Oh, and he KICKED him down a hill.
Take Her Out To The Ball Game
Maya Forrester (Karla Mosley) was definitely not bereft of ambition. She wanted to be a top model, actress, and singer. She got a chance to display that latter talent by singing the national anthem at Dodger Stadium.
Thank goodness Kike Hernandez gets all his tailoring needs met at Forrester Creations. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS Check your local listings for airtimes.
