The Bold and the Beautiful recap (BB) for Wednesday, January 31 features a family coming together to get ready for a long-awaited wedding.
Moving Forward
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) took a big step to bury the hatchet and bring peace to the Forrester ranks. Thorne’s agreement to not only give his blessing but to stand with his big brother at the altar gave both men a sense of closure.
Thorne will never be Ridge’s biggest fan but he knows there’s no way to talk Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) out of chasing love. What she wants is all that matters even if he thinks she deserves better. It’s time for Thorne to bite his tongue and go with the flow.
A Hard Sell
However, there was still one more hurdle for the happy couple. Brooke’s son isn’t too fond of her choice in men and wasn’t shy about voicing his displeasure. Rick (Jacob Young) wants to see his mom happy for the long run, not just in the moment.
Rick won’t stand in the way of the nuptials but he warned Brooke to keep her eyes wide open. Ridge goes hot and cold far too often and it always ends with Brooke’s heart breaking. He’s hoping for the best but doesn’t put much faith in his future stepdad.
Walking Down Memory Lane
With everyone finally on board, the group came together one more time to raise their glasses. The couple’s long and loving history was remembered by all with the swapping of their favorite “Bridge” stories.
Gearing Up for Greatness
The small, intimate affair is set to be the best and more romantic wedding yet. It’s a make it or break it union and the very last chance for the couple to either sink or swim. They say love conquers all but that only works if everyone stays within the line.
The Bold and the Beautiful (BB) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
