The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, July 12, 2021, features Baker realizing he was wrong and Liam Spencer was essentially innocent all along. It wasn’t without some twists and turns on the way.
Deputy Baker (Dan Brown) was floored to hear the story of Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death. Did he really kill himself, and why? Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Hope Logan Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) tale of woe just did not make sense. Until the phone showed up, that is.
Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) sent the cell in with the guard (off-screen). When the video was played (on-screen), Baker was shocked. What a bombshell piece of evidence! It still was not enough for him to call off the transport, though. He only made the call to stop Liam’s transfer when Hope made a beeline for the van.
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was awestruck when the van stopped and he was unshackled. He went from being in cuffs to being in Hope’s arms. It was a lovely reunion with hugs, kisses, and smiles all around. All while Baker and Thomas waved them on.
Meanwhile, Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) checked in at the office to pack her things. Luckily, her jewels were in the same room as Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). They had a chance to touch base, apologize to each other, and share their horror stories of being reamed out by Zoe (off-screen, of course). They agreed their time with the Forrester family was over.
At. the same time, Brooke Logan Forrester and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) showed up at the mansion. Eric Forrester (John McCook) was a ball of fury but had yet to take Quinn’s portrait down. Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) wondered if he was giving her a second chance. Eric was adamant he was not.
Brooke then made her way to the office to have it out with Quinn. The ladies stared each other down and slung some insults. Brooke threw Quinn’s affair in her face, she had it all with Eric, after all. Quinn did not mention all the times Brooke cheated on the Forrester patriarch.
All the while, Eric called Carter to the mansion. He was intimidated but showed up. He told the Forrester men he was writing his resignation. Eric lost it and laid into him about sleeping with Quinn. How dare you bed my wife!
