The Bold and the Beautiful recap for August 31-September 4, 2020, features a love quadrangle for the ages and a woman on the verge of a serious crisis.
Only Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) could find herself in the enviable position of having to choose between the bad boy of design and an even broader publishing magnate. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Quinn (Rena Sofer) and Shuna (Denise Richards) are holding out hope that she’ll go with option number two – that way their scheme won’t be for naught. And Shauna really, really wants to be Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) wife…and to see him do naked backflips into a swimming pool.
Bill (Don Diamont) really, really hopes that Brooke will go with option number two as well. Or, as he so succinctly put it, he’d like her to. “Hop on her stallion,” and ride into the future with him – we’re pretty sure that’s a euphemism.
Ridge isn’t entirely sure what he wants. Truth be told he’d probably like to have his cake and eat it too. But bigamy is still illegal in Los Angeles. So at the moment, he’ll have to settle for challenging his legal wife to swimming contests and complaining about how Brooke did him wrong.
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is still in an incredible amount of pain – or so she claims. She needs more pain killers – or so she says. But it doesn’t look like she’s going to get her hands on any anytime soon.
Dr. Finn (Tanner Novlan) can spot an addict a mile off and he’s convinced that Steffy is plunging headlong down that slippery slope. He’s going to do everything he can to save her, one Ibuprofen tablet at a time.
Quinn to Brooke: “Everybody tiptoes around all the really, truly awful things that you have done over the years. I mean, you’ve slept with practically every single Forrester man. And how many times can a woman say, ‘Oops, I accidentally kissed my sister’s husband, the father of her children?'”
Well, if history is anything to go by…plenty of times. And wasn’t it kind of Quinn not to also throw up in Brooke’s face that she slept with not one, but TWO of Bridget’s (Ashley Jones) lovers (Deacon and Nick) and one of Hope’s.
