The Bold and the Beautiful recap for September 7-11, 2020, features a swing and a miss for Brooke and Steffy indulging in an ultra-sad version of “This Is Your Life.”
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Highlights
Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) was just a girl, standing in front of a boy – or in this case her errant ex-husband seven times over – asking him to take her hand and return to their abode.
She reminded him of their incredible relationship, which was full of ups and downs. She recounted the adversity that the two of them had faced, and conquered, together. And then her other ex-husband – the one that Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) really, really hates – came barreling through the front door of the Forrester mansion interrupting the moment. Thanks, Quinn (Rena Sofer)!
A Physician Says, “Steffy, Heal Thyself”
Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has always been the kind of girl who lived her life one challenge at a time. She was a certified Lady Boss by the time she reached her mid-twenties. She’s spent the past few years practically raising her daughter single-handedly. And now she’s struggling with a rapidly-increasing dependency on pain medication.
Her very attractive doctor recognizes her woes – both the physical ones and the emotional ones. And he cares. He really, really cares. So much so that he sat and listened while Steffy rambled on about her poor, miserable life, which has so far included a dead twin sister (who was at one point identical and then not – don’t ask) and a stolen baby that she called dibs on and then had to eventually give back.
Finn (Tanner Novlan) insisted that Steffy has it within herself to grin and bear through the pain and he even offered up his personal phone number in a bid to assure her that what she really needed was to vent and conquer her emotional problems – not the medication that she’s so desperate to get her hands on.
BB Musings
Ridge: “…Brooke. Why does she do the things she does? Why can’t she be loyal to me? Why can’t she commit to one person? That is all I want. It’s all I ask for – someone to commit to me.” Well, to be frank Ridge, you had that with Taylor (Hunter Tylo) and you screwed it up six ways to Sunday by continuing your shameless pursuit of Brooke.
Katie: “You and Donna made such a sweet couple…Do you ever…” Eric: “Katie, I’m a happily married man.” Firstly, they were an ADORABLE couple. Donna and her Honey Bear. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
